Aerial photography & Slattery Helicopters

On thursday I was asked to do some aerial photography of a property just outside of Singleton in The Hunter Valley. I teamed up with Slattery Helicopters ( www.helicharter.com.au ) and we got the job done. On the way back I had the chance to shoot their machine, VH-OPO, and I got this shot of Deb in the hot seat cruising over The Hunter Valley Gardens.

On the weekend, we are taking a group of friends out on AMOKURA. They purchased the day as part of an auction prize just before christmas and we have been waiting for the planets to align and Saturday is the day. I cant wait to catch up with them and have a few beers, its been too long.. See you on Saturday guys.

The Crown Ridge Rd goes from Wanaka to Queenstown on New Zealand’s South Island and should not take you all that long to drive, but with scenes like this, we found ourselves stopping all the time and it took us forever.

I took this shot when visitng Sydney during the VIVID FESTIVAL of 2011. Its a once a year festival that runs for about 2 weeks and it lights up some of Sydney’s most iconic structures, well worth a visit.

Sulphur

I liked this shot because of the differences between the base of the volcano, the sulphur that was leaking into the sea, and the actual water itself. Less than two minutes from here was some of the bluest water I have ever seen
